Shape file for the route of of the proposed HS2
On January 7th 2016, the Department of Transport released an ESRI shape file that provide details of the preferred route of Phase 2a of the proposed HS2. This is for the route from the West Midlands to Crewe.
This file has been released with the Open Government Licence.
You can also obtain this file from a data.gov.uk web page.
I've converted some aspects of this shape file to KML.
